Professional/Personal Highlights: Bass Fishing was instilled in my blood at a very young age while fishing with my dad on local lakes in Illinois and Missouri. Every weekend he was off we would be out on the water searching for “Mr. Bass”, as he would say, and our family vacations were fishing trips to Toledo Bend Reservoir and Lake Sam Rayburn. I fished my first official bass tournament at the age of 17, a Charity tournament on Truman Lake in Missouri. With my competitive nature and love of bass fishing that was all it took to get me started. I joined my first bass club in the late 1990’s out of Collinsville Illinois. I excelled at the club level winning 3 consecutive “Angler of The Year” awards and breaking numerous club records on the way. After 4 years of sharpening my skills I then started stepping up to higher tournament levels of competition. Today I fish just about everything including: FLW Outdoor Events, BASS Series Events, BWSTA tournaments, Open Events, and other Charity tournaments. Throughout the years I have had success progressing up the levels in Bass tournament fishing with numerous 1st place and top ten finishes along the way. I am still a student of the sport learning something along the way. I also enjoy teaching, demonstrating, and sharing fishing information, tips and techniques though publications and live demonstrations. I have had several “Featured Articles” published in magazines and numerous fishing articles and information published on Internet websites such as 7/24 Outdoors.
